Robert Bayliss is the founder and principal of the company and has been directly involved in the manufacturing of the Smartcube style packaging for over the past decade. During that time, significant gains have been made in improving the quality, reliability and functionality of the package with the use of statistical process controls and continuous improvements methodology. An obsessive focus on reducing the costs associated with every stage of the manufacturing process has resulted in dramatic cost reductions. In some cases, the selling price to customers today is less than half what it was 10 years ago with improved quality and functionality.
The team within the organization has developed numerous innovations including a unique “flip-top-lid” reclosure and modular filling machines. Customers can incrementally progress from manual filling, to semi automated, to fully automated filling machines including robot stacking and palletizing.
